SUPPORTING THE STREET MANAGER INITIATIVE
EToNweb, interfacing to Street Manager
A deep understanding of complex highways is still required
We believe that our strength is in managing street works requirements for multiple, complex projects and we intend to continue to do this in EToNweb, interfacing to Street Manager rather than multiple highway authority systems.
Street works users should be aware of some minor changes to legislation, mainly to do with removing references to the deprecated EToN specification and its replacement with Street Manager but there is also a requirement to notify the highway authority within two working hours of works starting or completing which may cause some operational challenges. There are also amendments to the definition of Major works and the allowed duration of Section 58 restrictions.
